Screw connection drill rod: A screw connection drill rod is a hollow circular or hollow hexagonal rod with connecting threads at both ends or one end of the rod body. It is the main component of the screw connection matching drill tool. One end of the threaded connecting drill rod is connected to the drill tail and rock drill through a connecting sleeve, while the other end is directly connected to the drill head through a threaded or conical structure, or one end is connected to other drill rods through a connecting sleeve (some drill rods have connecting sleeves directly), forming a complete threaded connecting tool for drilling. The threaded connecting drill rod can be connected to the drill tail with a single rod, or to the drill tail with multiple rods. The drill head can be connected to the drill tail for rock drilling, and can also be used for shallow and small diameter rock drilling. It has a wide range of applications, fast drilling speed, small impact energy transfer loss, high rock drilling efficiency, and is easy to achieve mechanized drilling and improve drilling conditions. Therefore, the proportion of threaded drill rods in the manufacturing and use of the entire drill tool product has become increasingly large. Extension rod drill rod: It is a threaded connection drill rod with a nominal thread diameter equal to the nominal diameter of the hollow steel rod body, and a threaded drill rod with a tail handle. This drill rod is used in a very small part of small section drill tools and is only used as an extension rod in specific situations. Therefore, in general, the extension rod drill rod is called a relay drill rod.
